March 14 this year in the Chuvash Republic, the head of the Department of Relay Protection and Automation and Automation of JSC FGC UES, Viktor Pulyaev, was on a visit. The main purpose of his visit is to discuss the main issues related to preparations for the holding by the Government of the Chuvash Republic together with JSC FGC UES, JSC IDGC Holding, JSC RusHydro and NP "Promotion of the development of relay protection, automation and control in the electric power industry" of the II International scientific-practical conference and exhibition "Relay protection and automation of electric power systems in Russia-2013" ("RELAVEXPO-2013") April 23-26 this year. in the city of Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic.
During the visit, they visited LLC NPP EKRA, the Cheboksary Electromechanical College (electrotechnical laboratories, a welder training center, a metalworking center). In the afternoon, a meeting of the working group to prepare for the conference was held.
The main objectives of the exhibition and conference are to analyze the current state of relay protection and automation of production processes, transmission and distribution of electricity in the Unified Energy System of Russia (UES of Russia) and to exchange experience and familiarize themselves with advanced relay protection technologies and automation of control processes, design and operation of electric power facilities that provide reliability of functioning and controllability of UES of Russia in normal and emergency modes.
