The Regional Engineering Center provides assistance to the small enterprise of the republic, FACEMAN LLC, in preparing a business plan for the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a plant for the production of radio frequency tags. Presumably, the plant will be located on the territory of the Industrial Park of Cheboksary.

The project provides for the production of a transceiver device for reading RFID tags with integration into an Internet data collection server.

RFID (English Radio Frequency IDentification, radio frequency identification) is a method of automatic identification of objects, in which, through radio signals read or write data, stored in the so-called transponders, or RFID tags.

Any RFID system consists of a reading device (reader, reader or interrogator) and a transponder (also known as RFID tag, sometimes the term RFID tag is also used).

In Russia, there has recently been a steady interest in radio identification technology. Suppliers are increasingly receiving inquiries from companies about implementation costs, and project requirements are becoming more robust and specific. According to experts, the peak demand for RFID is still ahead. RFID tags are predicted to become the most popular and widespread technology in the world, capable of rivaling mobile phones in distribution.
