Andrey Zhukov, Deputy Director for Management of UES Modes of SO UES JSC, took part in a panel discussion on the issues and prospects for the introduction of digital substations in the UES of Russia and moderated the discussion during a scientific and practical conference on relay protection and automation within the framework of the International Forum "Electrical networks".
During the panel discussion, the issues of developing standard requirements for high-voltage DSPs and digital electrical networks were discussed. The requirements relate to the main components of the PS and networks, as well as the economically justified implementation of these components. The participants of the event discussed the problems of ensuring the independence and security of digital transformation in the current political and economic conditions, as well as standardization issues.
