Since the 80s of the last century, the Cheboksary Electrical Apparatus Plant has been producing children's metal construction kits, for which it was nominated as a nominee for the All-Russian annual public award “For Devotion to Childhood”, organized by the International Festival of Scientific and Technical Creativity of Children and Youth “Ot Vinta!”, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
The "For Devotion to Childhood" award is given to projects, organizations and individuals whose activities are aimed at supporting and developing the younger generation. For the first time the award diploma was presented in 2011 to Vladimir Putin.

Applications for the nomination of nominees from all regions of Russia are accepted until June 20, 2020.
