Today in Moscow was opened specialized exhibition "Electrical Networks of Russia - 2014", which is one of the most significant events for the power industry throughout the country. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Economic Development, Industry and Trade of the Chuvash Republic Vladimir Avrelkin. During his opening speech, the Minister noted the need for import substitution in the industry within the set by President Vladimir Putin of tasks to ensure the energy security of the country.
Participation in a specialized event dedicated to electric networks, is significant for the Chuvash Republic as electrical engineering is the "locomotive" of the Chuvash industry and the most important basic sector of the economy. Chuvash Republic rightly be regarded as "the Centre for Development of electrical and relay protection in Russia." Share Chuvash manufacturers in the market of electrical equipment of relay protection and automation of the Russian Federation today is about 50%.

The exhibition will be held in Moscow Days of Chuvashia. In the days devoted to the republic, the exhibition will be a presentation of the region. Participants and guests will talk about the contribution of the industrial enterprises of the republic in the development of electrical engineering of Russia Electrotechnical cluster of Chuvashia and the achievements of its members. Ministry within the framework of the business program «Days of Chuvash Republic" provides for the signing of an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chuvash Republic and the non-profit partnership "Association of Power Energy." December 3 at the Russian Academy of Sciences are expected to sign an agreement between the State Organization "RAS" and the Cabinet of Ministers of Chuvash Republic on cooperation in the field of advanced research and innovation.
